Impressive Talent….

This is a video of a zombie painting from beginning to end. This video is the re-cut version of an earlier video. Youtube would not allow me to use my first choice of music “The End” by the Doors due to copyrights. So I re-cut this video to a song by Phantom Planet. In this video I do an acrylic layer, then a water color layer and remove light areas with a wet brush, then do an oil paint layer and remove light areas with an eraser, after that it is pretty much color pencil and acrylic until the end…plus a secret trick I use for blood…can’t give away everything. A Live demonstration of painting water on my recent painting trip in Canada. My Name is Andrew Gable, I was born and raised in Canada, fortunate to say the least, as their are many in this world that do not share such a privilege, living and working in a Country that has plenty of resources, both natural and economic. The Art I make and that you can find on this site has very much been shaped and influenced by the world I grew up in, and symbolizes a type of Art that is, and has been for some time quickly disappearing. An Art where I was/am still able to express and explore myself within a stable environment. This Kind of expression will soon no longer exist in this world as this opportunity to self reflect and discover the deeper regions of self within a stable environment are quickly being replaced with a racing to the top or simply just with the day to day struggle of making enough money to live in this world. This is something that I have realized in my life, so that is why I Stand for Equality and the establishment of a world that will once again be able to support actual self introspection, expansion, and enjoyment in art, not simply painting to make money, or having no time left for art at all. If we do not do something about our current world system, soon there will be no room left in this world for art, Art is something, that only exist after there is food and water in our bellies.
